Job summary

Hunter Savage in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, is seeking an experienced Commercial & Farm Account Executive to grow and manage a portfolio of commercial and agricultural clients. You will advise clients on insurance needs and deliver high levels of service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three to five years' experience in a similar commercial insurance role.
• CIP qualification or Grandfathered status in Commercial General Insurance.
• Strong commercial or agricultural insurance knowledge.
• Good knowledge of the insurance market, products and technical requirements.
• Ability to understand client needs and provide appropriate advice.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive, adaptable and client-focused approach.
• Ability to meet the Central Bank's Fitness and Probity Standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the renewal process in line with procedures and timescales.
• Understand clients' businesses and advise on insurance requirements.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Develop an existing portfolio of commercial and farm business.
• Work towards an agreed individual income target.
• Ensure internal processes and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Manage premium collection and aged debt within the portfolio.
• Maintain accurate client and policy records.
• Liaise with insurers to secure coverage and terms.
• Comply with Central Bank of Ireland requirements and internal policies.

The Role

A well-established insurance brokerage is seeking an experienced Commercial & Farm Account Executive to join its Dungarvan team.

You will take responsibility for developing and managing an existing book of commercial and agricultural business, providing clients with professional advice and ensuring they receive a consistently high level of service.
