Job summary

The Fleet Hotel in Dublin seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and profitability. You will coordinate front office, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance while upholding standards and compliance.

Lead department heads, optimize staffing, control costs, and drive performance improvements. A hospitality background with strong communication and financial acumen is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• Proven experience in hotel operations or management roles.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Financial acumen and proficiency in relevant software systems (PMS, POS).

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations across all departments (front office, house-keeping, F&B, maintenance, guest services).
• Monitor staffing levels and ensure adequate coverage across areas.
• Oversee inventory management, procurement and supplies for seamless operations.
• Implement and maintain SOPs to uphold service quality and consistency.
• Analyze revenue and expense reports to identify opportunities for improvement.
