Job summary

The Fleet Hotel in Dublin seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day‑to‑day hotel operations, drive guest satisfaction and profitability.

You will supervise front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, and guest services; lead department heads, manage budgets, and partner with sales to maximize occupancy. The role offers a hands‑on leadership position within a boutique hotel with Windward Management support and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel operations or management roles.
• Strong leadership and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Financial acumen and proficiency in PMS/POS software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations across departments (front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, guest services).
• Monitor staffing levels and ensure adequate coverage.
• Oversee inventory management, procurement and supplies.
• Implement and maintain SOPs to uphold service quality.
• Address guest complaints and ensure exceptional experiences.
• Lead recruitment, training and development of department heads.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control and forecasting.
• Collaborate with sales/marketing to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are met.
