Job summary

The Fleet Hotel, managed by Windward Management, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and profitability. You will coordinate front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, and guest services while upholding standards and SOPs.

Lead department heads, manage staffing and budgets, and collaborate with sales to maximise occupancy. You will ensure health, safety, and quality compliance across the property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Proven experience in hotel operations or management.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Financial acumen and proficiency with PMS/POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily hotel operations across all departments.
• Monitor staffing levels and ensure adequate coverage.
• Oversee inventory, procurement and supplies.
• Implement and maintain SOPs to uphold service quality.
• Address guest complaints and ensure exceptional experience.
• Monitor guest feedback and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with front desk and concierge for personalised services.
• Recruit, train and develop department heads and staff.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and provide feedback.
• Assist in budgeting, cost control and forecasting.
• Analyze revenue/expenses and identify improvement areas.
• Work with sales/marketing to maximise occupancy and revenue.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene compliance.
• Conduct routine inspections and safeguard assets.
