Job summary

The Fleet Hotel, a boutique hotel in the heart of Dublin, is seeking a Reservations Executive to drive reservations and revenue across all channels. You will collaborate with the GM and Revenue Manager, optimize inventory with housekeeping, and ensure system proficiency in HotSoft/Opera.

A proactive, customer-focused approach is essential. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a similar role, strong maths, excellent communication, and a collaborative, calm demeanor under pressure.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar role in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Computer literacy – Word and Excel.
• Proven track record in hospitality.
• Professional telephone etiquette.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Good organisational skills.
• Strong team player.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Positive, cheerful and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Organise and manage day-to-day operations of reservations with revenue focus.
• Coordinate group bookings with GM & Revenue Manager.
• Liaise with housekeeping to keep inventory up to date.
• Maintain full working knowledge of HotSoft/Opera systems.
• Support front office and train new staff on policies and procedures.
• Review no-shows and apply charges per hotel policy.
• Adapt schedules (day/evening/Saturdays) to business needs.
• Adhere to GDPR and hotel regulations and safety standards.
