PT. Sentosa Axis Logistics is seeking a Sales Freight Forwarding professional to join the West Jakarta sales team.

This full-time role focuses on identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding market presence in freight forwarding. You will prepare tailored quotations, negotiate profitable contracts, and collaborate with operations to ensure service excellence.

Formación

• Minimum experience in B2B sales, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding services, supply chains, and international logistics.
• Proficient in Indonesian and English; CRM and MS Office skills essential.

About the role

PT. Sentosa Axis Logistics is seeking a talented Sales Freight Forwarding professional to join our dynamic sales team. This is a full-time position based in West Jakarta, Jakarta, offering an exciting opportunity to drive new business development within the freight forwarding and logistics sector. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence. This position is integral to our growth strategy and will have a direct impact on our revenue targets and market expansion initiatives.

What you'll be doing

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics industry
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients whilst actively seeking new accounts
• Prepare detailed quotations and proposals tailored to client requirements and competitive positioning
• Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitor activities and potential client needs
• Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to ensure profitability and client satisfaction
• Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations
• Monitor sales performance against targets and provide regular reports to management
• Attend industry events, exhibitions and networking opportunities to generate leads and strengthen brand presence
• Handle client inquiries professionally and respond promptly to build trust and credibility
• Support the development of sales strategies and marketing initiatives to drive business growth

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within freight forwarding, logistics or related industries
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding services, supply chain operations and international logistics
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
• Fluency in Indonesian and English; additional languages are advantageous
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures is preferred
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Logistics or a related field
