Job summary

Explera DMC International is hiring Reservations Executives for our Indonesia desk, working remotely from Indonesia. Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years in reservations, hotels or travel can apply; we train you on our booking system, suppliers and processes.

You will request and confirm villas, resorts and hotels, transfers and tours for travellers booked by our partners, and ensure every confirmation is correct before the guest arrives.

Qualifications

• Fresher, or up to 2 years in reservations, hotels, airlines or travel.
• Careful and accurate with details.
• Bahasa Indonesia and good written English.
• Comfortable with email, Excel or Google Sheets.
• Willing to learn and to work some weekends during peak seasons.
• Living in Indonesia and able to work as an independent contractor (invoicing Explera monthly).
• Your own laptop, a reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work.

Responsibilities

• Request, confirm and reconfirm villas, resorts and hotels, transfers, tours and restaurants with suppliers.
• Check names, dates, room types, meal plans and special requests on every confirmation.
• Record every booking and change in our booking system.
• Prepare service vouchers, rooming lists and final itineraries.
• Send partners clear, on-time updates.
• Handle amendments and cancellations within supplier policies.
• Support the operations team on busy days and during peaks.

Role overview

Key responsibilities

1. Bookings & confirmations

• Request, confirm and reconfirm villas, resorts and hotels, transfers, tours and restaurants with suppliers
• Check names, dates, room types, meal plans and special requests on every confirmation
• Record every booking and change in our booking system

2. Vouchers & documents

• Prepare service vouchers, rooming lists and final itineraries

Remote contract

This is a remote role for people living in Indonesia. There is no Explera office in Indonesia: you work from home and join the team online.

• Engagement: independent contractor with Explera DMC Limited (Hong Kong), with a monthly fee agreed in writing
• You invoice monthly and handle your own Indonesian tax and BPJS as a self-employed professional
• Working hours: 09:00–18:00 WITA on weekdays, or as agreed at offer
• You use your own laptop and a reliable internet connection; Explera provides the systems and accounts you need
