Job summary

Explera DMC International is seeking an Indonesia Holiday Advisor to design tailor-made itineraries and quotations for B2B partners booking Indonesia. You will price accurately and maintain margins while guiding partners from enquiry to confirmed booking.

This remote, Indonesia-based contractor role requires strong knowledge of Indonesian cities, hotels and experiences, plus fluent English. You’ll use Excel or a booking system for costing and invoicing monthly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in travel sales, reservations or itinerary planning, ideally selling Indonesia.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesia's key cities, hotels, seasons and experiences.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
• Quick, accurate costing in Excel or a booking system.
• Customer-first, organised and comfortable working to same-day deadlines.
• Living in Indonesia and able to work as an independent contractor (invoicing Explera monthly).

Responsibilities

• Prepare tailor-made Indonesia itineraries and quotations for B2B partner enquiries, the same business day wherever possible.
• Price accurately from contracted hotel, transport and activity rates, protecting the agreed margin.
• Recommend hotels, experiences and routings that fit each client's budget, travel dates and season.
• Follow up every open quotation and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Build strong relationships with partner agents in India, the Gulf and South-East Asia.
• Train partner agents on Indonesia in short online sessions and share new products, offers and travel advisories.
• Hand confirmed bookings to operations with complete, accurate files.
• Coordinate with contracting on rates, allotments and availability.
• Keep partners updated from confirmation until departure.
• Record every enquiry, quotation and booking in our booking system and CRM.
• Report weekly on your pipeline, conversion rate and margin.

Role overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and commercially minded Indonesia Holiday Advisor to be the destination expert for the travel agents, tour operators and OTAs who book Indonesia with us. Explera is a B2B DMC: we do not sell to travellers directly. Partners send us their clients, and we plan and deliver the trip with our local suppliers.

You will turn partner enquiries into clear, well-priced itineraries for honeymooners, families, FIT travellers and small groups, follow up until they confirm, and hand complete files to our operations team.

Key responsibilities

1. Itinerary design & quotations

• Prepare tailor-made Indonesia itineraries and quotations for B2B partner enquiries, the same business day wherever possible
• Price accurately from contracted hotel, transport and activity rates, protecting the agreed margin

2. Partner sales & conversion

• Follow up every open quotation and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings

Requirements

Remote contract

This is a remote role for people living in Indonesia. There is no Explera office in Indonesia: you work from home and join the team online.

• Engagement: independent contractor with Explera DMC Limited (Hong Kong), with a monthly fee agreed in writing
• You invoice monthly and handle your own Indonesian tax and BPJS as a self-employed professional
• Working hours: 09:00–18:00 WITA on weekdays, or as agreed at offer
• You use your own laptop and a reliable internet connection; Explera provides the systems and accounts you need
