Explera DMC International is seeking a fast, detail-oriented Quotations Executive for its Indonesia desk. This remote, Indonesia-based contractor role focuses on turning client enquiries into accurate quotations, costing itineraries, and handing confirmed files to operations.

You will work closely with sales, contracting and operations, using contracted rates to maintain margins while updating templates and rate sheets. Strong Excel costing and Indonesian knowledge are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Indonesia quotations, costing, reservations or itinerary planning at a DMC, tour operator or travel agency.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesia's main destinations, villas, resorts and hotels, transport and seasonal peaks.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Bahasa Indonesia (Native).
• Fast and accurate with Excel costing; experience with a booking or quotation system.
• Organised and calm under pressure, able to handle several enquiries at once and meet same-day deadlines.
• Living in Indonesia and able to work as an independent contractor (invoicing Explera monthly).
• Your own laptop, a reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work.

Role overview

We are seeking a fast, detail-oriented Quotations Executive for our Indonesia desk (remote, from anywhere in Indonesia). Explera is a B2B DMC: travel agents, tour operators and OTAs send us their clients' enquiries, and you will turn them into clear, accurate and competitive Indonesia quotations.

You will cost Indonesia itineraries for FIT travellers, families, honeymooners and groups from our contracted rates, revise them as partners change their plans, and hand confirmed files to operations. The role works closely with sales, contracting and operations, and suits someone who is quick with numbers and knows Indonesia well.

Key responsibilities

1. Quotations & costing

• Prepare accurate Indonesia quotations for FIT, family, honeymoon, MICE and group enquiries, the same business day wherever possible
• Cost villas, resorts and hotels, domestic flights, fast boats, and private transfers with driver-guides, guides, entrance fees, activities and meals from contracted and current rates
• Apply the correct markups, taxes, supplements and currency, and protect the agreed margin
• Revise quotations quickly when partners change dates, hotels, room types or group size

2. Itinerary design

• Build realistic day-by-day routings across Bali, Lombok, the Gili Islands, Yogyakarta, Mount Bromo and Komodo that respect travel times and opening days
• Suggest alternatives when hotels are full or prices rise, especially around the July-August high season, Christmas and New Year, and Nyepi
• Write clear, well-presented proposals that partners can send straight to their clients

3. Rates & availability

• Check availability and option dates with suppliers and contracting before quoting
• Keep rate sheets, seasonal supplements and special offers up to date in the quoting templates
• Flag missing or expired rates to contracting quickly

4. Conversion & handover

• Follow up open quotations with sales and partner agents until they confirm or close
• Hand confirmed bookings to operations with complete, accurate files
• Track turnaround time, conversion rate and margin, and report them weekly

Remote contract

This is a remote role for people living in Indonesia. There is no Explera office in Indonesia: you work from home and join the team online.

• Engagement: independent contractor with Explera DMC Limited (Hong Kong), with a monthly fee agreed in writing
• You invoice monthly and handle your own Indonesian tax and BPJS as a self-employed professional
• Working hours: 09:00-18:00 WITA on weekdays, or as agreed at offer
• You use your own laptop and a reliable internet connection; Explera provides the systems and accounts you need
