• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• 3–5 years in Purchasing in manufacturing, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong background in wood/furniture or export manufacturing preferred.
• Proven leadership in supervising and coaching a team.
• Expertise in vendor negotiation (price, quality, lead time, MOQ, payment terms).
• Proficient in evaluating supplier quotations, cost structures, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Familiarity with purchasing docs (PR/PO/contracts/delivery notes/invoices) and ERP systems (Dynamics NAV/BC).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

This is a Purchasing Supervisor role in the manufacturing industry, responsible for overseeing daily purchasing operations and leading a purchasing team. The role requires expertise in vendor negotiation, cost management, and coordination across production, planning, quality, and warehouse functions to ensure timely material delivery aligned with production schedules.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and direct daily purchasing operations, assign tasks, review PR-to-PO execution, and ensure compliance with purchasing SOPs

Coordinate closely with Production, Production Planning, R&D, QC, and Warehouse to ensure timely material delivery aligned with production schedules

Monitor supplier reliability (cost, quality, on-time delivery), handle delivery delays, and resolve quality claims or return issues

Monitor purchasing budgets and implement continuous cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or production timelines

Work with the Production Planner and Warehouse to mitigate supply risks, preventing stockouts and overstock situations

About you

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Purchasing within the manufacturing industry, with at least 1–2 years in a Supervisory or Team Lead role

Strong background in the wood/furniture or export manufacturing industry is highly preferred

Proven leadership skills with a track record of supervising, coaching, and managing a purchasing team

Strong expertise in purchasing execution, vendor negotiation (price, quality, lead time, MOQ, payment terms), and vendor relationship management

Strong analytical skills in evaluating supplier quotations, material cost structures, and executing cost-saving initiatives

Deep familiarity with purchasing documentation (PR, PO, contracts, delivery notes, invoices), ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV & Business Central), and advanced Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookup functions)

In-depth understanding of inventory control, material requirements planning (MRP), and production workflows in a manufacturing environment; configure dynamic safety stock and reorder qty

Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and team coordination skills

Fluent in English, both written and spoken
