Job summary

Yayasan Budha Tzu Chi Wiyata Indonesia is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead company-wide sourcing strategies in Jakarta. You will manage the full procurement cycle, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure regulatory compliance while driving cost efficiencies.

You will mentor the purchasing team, collaborate with warehouse and logistics to optimize inventory, and implement SOPs across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Business, or related field.
• At least 5 years in procurement or supply chain (managerial/lead role preferred).
• Experience with ERP procurement software (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite).
• Strong negotiation, market analysis, and vendor management skills.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia; Mandarin is a plus.

Job description

Oversee the sourcing, evaluation, and onboarding of reliable local and international suppliers.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Manage procurement budgets, analyze market trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Partner with warehouse/logistics teams to optimize inventory levels and prevent stockouts.

Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of the purchasing team.

Ensure all procurement processes comply with company policies and legal standards.

Key Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement / Purchasing / Supply Chain (Managerial or Lead level preferred).
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar procurement software).
• Strong market analysis, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage.
• Strong leadership skills, high integrity, and excellent attention to detail.
