Job summary

Cosmax Indonesia is seeking a Senior Staff/Supervisor Purchasing to oversee the purchasing of raw materials and packaging materials in Ciracas, East Jakarta. Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in the cosmetic or pharmacy manufacturing industry and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

The role involves cost control, supplier evaluation, and coordination of all purchasing activities. The position requires proficiency in English and expertise in tools like MS Excel, ERP, and SAP.

This is an onsite position with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 08.00 – 17.00.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of working experience as Senior Staff/Supervisor Purchasing in cosmetic or pharmacy manufacturing.
• Understanding of cosmetic manufacturing processes and contracts (ODM or OEM).
• Knowledge of export-import procedures.

Responsibilities

• Control costs by monitoring and coordinating all purchasing.
• Propose equipment, products, or substitute materials at lower prices.
• Set target delivery times to meet sales requirements.
• Evaluate supplier performance on delivery and quality.
• Verify negotiation results for contracts and pricing.
• Ensure expiry dates of prices for materials for COGS calculation.

Job description

This position will be located in Ciracas, East Jakarta. As Team Purchasing, you will be lead team purchasing raw material, purchasing packaging material and team export import.

Disclaimer: The selection process will be conducting offline interview in Ciracas, East Jakarta. Ensure that you able to attend offline interview based on our procedure.

Qualifications:

• Minimum educations are bachelor's degree (S1) in related field from reputable university in Indonesia
• Minimum 10 years of working experience as SENIOR STAFF/Supervisor Purchasing in cosmetic or pharmacy manufacture
• Understanding of process/ business toll/contract cosmetic manufacturing (ODM or OEM)
• Have knowledge of export import procedure
• Must have active in English
• Good interpersonal, communication skill
• Expert using MS Excel, MS PPT, ERP, SAP, other systems

Role & Responsibilities:

• Controlling the cost by monitor, coordinate all purchase for materials stockage (Packaging Material, Raw Material), equipment, tools, machines components, also direct supplies
• Propose choice of equipment, products or substitute materials in relation to same quality with lower prices
• Setting target delivery time also the actual time arrival should meet sales requirement or project schedule.
• Evaluate performance of all suppliers on delivery performance also quality of purchase items.
• Verification on negotiating result of purchasing staff for contracts also formulating price with suppliers.
• Collation of Price database including ensure the expiry time of price for Packaging material, Raw material - as the reference for COGS calculation
