Job summary

PT Nexco Indonesia is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to oversee local and import procurement, lead a purchasing team, and ensure SOP compliance across operations. You will coordinate requests, POs, and goods receipt using the Accurate system.

The ideal candidate has a 4–5 year track record in manufacturing procurement, exposure to import processes, strong negotiation and Excel skills, and the ability to monitor shipments to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 degree in Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Purchasing/Procurement Supervisor in Manufacturing.
• Experience handling both local and import purchases.
• Understanding of procurement processes, price negotiation, and supplier evaluation.
• Proficiency with the Accurate system for purchasing and related administration.
• Understanding of import processes, import documentation, and coordination with foreign suppliers and forwarders.
• Ability to monitor goods shipments, both local and import, until goods are received.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to create purchasing reports.

Responsibilities

• Control purchasing costs and ensure ordered goods match received goods.
• Prepare purchasing reports, shipment status, and import activity reports.
• Lead the purchasing team and ensure SOP compliance.

Key responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate all purchasing activities

Manage the purchasing process using the Accurate system, from purchase requests, Purchase Orders (PO), to monitoring goods receipt

Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery times with suppliers

Monitor goods shipments regularly to ensure delivery according to schedule

Handle and monitor import processes, including coordination with foreign suppliers, freight forwarders, and related parties

Evaluate supplier performance based on price, quality, timeliness, and service

Control purchasing costs and ensure ordered goods match received goods

Prepare purchasing reports, shipment status, and import activity reports regularly

Lead the purchasing team and ensure all processes run according to company SOPs

About you
