Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
3–5 years in Purchasing in manufacturing, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong background in wood/furniture or export manufacturing preferred.
Proven leadership in supervising and coaching a team.
Expertise in vendor negotiation (price, quality, lead time, MOQ, payment terms).
Proficient in evaluating supplier quotations, cost structures, and cost-saving initiatives.
Familiarity with purchasing docs (PR/PO/contracts/delivery notes/invoices) and ERP systems (Dynamics NAV/BC).
Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Supervise and direct daily purchasing operations and assign tasks.
Review PR-to-PO execution and ensure SOP compliance.
Coordinate with Production, Production Planning, R&D, QC, and Warehouse for timely material delivery.
Monitor supplier reliability and manage delays, quality claims, and returns.
Track purchasing budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives without impacting production timelines.
Mitigate supply risks with Planner and Warehouse to prevent stockouts/overstocks.
