Job summary

Korindo Group is seeking a vigilant Vessel Certificates Manager in Jakarta to oversee Class, Flag, Statutory, ISM, ISPS, and MLC compliance. The role requires coordinating renewals, maintaining charts and notices to mariners, and handling H&M and P&I insurance documentation with rigorous filing of records.

You will collaborate with Masters, Technical Superintendent, Crewing and external brokers, ensuring timely updates and accurate documentation across the fleet in Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ship management, shipping company, marine department, class, flag administration or related position.
• Experience in handling ship certificates and statutory documents.
• Good understanding of Class, Flag state, ISM, ISPS, MLC and Statutory Surveys.
• Familiar with Nautical charts, Publications & notices to mariners and related marine documentation.
• Good understanding of H&M, P&I and Marine Insurance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage vessel certificates related to Class, Flag, Statutory, ISM, ISPS, MLC and other requirements
• Monitor certificate and survey expiry dates and coordinate timely renewals
• Maintain charts and publications according to vessel trading areas
• Handle H&M and P&I insurance documentation and monitor validity
• Prepare regular documentation status reports for Management
• Coordinate with Masters, Technical Superintendent, Crewing, Class, Flag, Insurance Brokers and other parties
• Maintain proper filing and records of company vessel documents
