Job summary

PT Moda Global Maritim is seeking a motivated HSE professional to monitor ISM-based SMS implementation, perform vessel inspections, and prepare safety performance reports. The role involves supporting investigations and implementing corrective actions, while coordinating safety initiatives across vessel and shore teams.

The ideal candidate holds a maritime or HSE degree and has at least 1 year of HSE experience, with preference for DPA exposure and ISM familiarity. Travel to vessels is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a maritime or HSE field.
• Minimum 1 year of HSE experience, preferably in shipping/maritime.
• Minimum 1 year of DPA-related activities is preferred.
• Familiar with ISM Code, SMS, HSE, vessel inspection, audit and vetting.
• HSE certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel for vessel inspections.

Responsibilities

• Monitor audit findings and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Maintain HSE documentation and data required for audits, vetting, claims, and management reporting.
• Coordinate safety and SMS-related matters between vessel and shore-based teams.
