Job summary

PT SOECHI LINES Tbk is seeking an experienced Marine Manager in Jakarta to oversee marine operations, safety, and regulatory compliance across assigned vessels. You will ensure ships operate safely, efficiently, and in line with maritime standards and company procedures.

The role requiresANT-1 Master Mariner Certification and a minimum of 10 years sailing as Master, with strong knowledge of ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL and international regulations. Frequent travel to vessels is expected.

Qualifications

• ANT-1 Master Mariner Certificate is required.
• Minimum 10 years sailing experience as Master.
• Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and safety.
• Familiarity with TMSA, SIRE and PSA standards.
• Understanding ISM Code, SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW.

Responsibilities

• Oversee marine operations, safety, regulatory compliance and performance across vessels.
• Monitor vessel safety, environmental and quality matters with risk control.
• Conduct vessel visits and onboard inspections; monitor cargo operations.
• Provide guidance to the Master; prepare operational reports.
• Maintain ISM certification and oversee annual shipboard audit planning.
• Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, Load Line, STCW and ILO conventions.
• Maintain records of incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Coordinate with Technical Superintendent on vessel issues and leaks.
• Arrange fleet inspections, admin audits and safety training.
• Collaborate with Masters, HSSEQ teams and shore-staff for safe operations.
