Job summary

PT Legend Shipping Agencies in Indonesia is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to develop new business, acquire customers, and grow revenue in NVOCC and freight forwarding services.

You will build relationships with exporters, importers, and logistics firms, prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and coordinate with operations to ensure smooth shipments. The role requires 2–3 years in sales or BD, a degree in business/logistics, strong English, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in NVOCC, freight forwarding, or logistics.
• Good understanding of ocean freight, FCL, LCL, import and export processes.
• Proven ability to acquire new customers and achieve sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
• Good networking and business development abilities.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willing to travel for customer visits when required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the NVOCC and freight forwarding industry.
• Actively seek and acquire new customers, including exporters, importers, and logistics companies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Promote the company's NVOCC and freight forwarding services.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate freight rates, and follow up on customer inquiries.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, freight rates, and competitor activities.
• Coordinate with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment handling.
• Maintain customer databases and prepare regular sales reports.
