Job summary

People Profilers Pte Ltd is seeking a Business Development professional to grow the freight forwarding business in Indonesia. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and the company, identifying opportunities and presenting solutions aligned with client needs.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Transportation or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Ocean or Air freight industries.
Knowledge of commercial and operational roles in freight management/NVOCC a plus.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Grow the business through customer visits, fostering relationships, and offering new trade opportunities.
Prepare and present proposals, submit quotations, and negotiate rates.
Maintain existing customer relationships and ensure satisfaction with services.
Collaborate with management to align with forecasting, planning, and pipeline development.
Handle incoming queries and provide solutions to service delivery issues.
Update CRM with reports and customer profiles.
