Job summary

PT. MODA Global Maritim in Jakarta is seeking a Crewing Specialist to manage end-to-end crew recruitment, planning, mobilization and changes across vessels.

You will build and maintain a qualified crew talent pool, verify certificates and documents, monitor regulatory compliance, and keep accurate recruitment records. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential to succeed in a fast-paced maritime environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of crewing/crew recruitment experience
• Familiar with seafarer recruitment, crew planning, and documentation
• Knowledge of STCW, MLC and relevant maritime regulations

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end crew recruitment and selection based on vessel manpower requirements
• Coordinate crew planning, placement, mobilization, and crew changes
• Build and maintain a qualified crew talent pool for current and future requirements
• Verify and maintain crew certificates, licenses, medical records, and other required documents

• Coordinate with vessels, manning agencies, and internal teams regarding crew requirements

Job Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in crewing/crew recruitment, preferably in the maritime industry.

Familiar with seafarer recruitment, crew planning, and crew documentation.

Good understanding of STCW, MLC, and relevant maritime regulations.

Strong communication, coordination, and networking skills.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple requirements and deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Able to work under pressure and handle urgent manpower requirements.
