Job summary

PT Indoplast Makmur Fortuna (IMF) seeks a Business Development professional to expand key customer bases and identify new market opportunities in Indonesia. The role focuses on market mapping, lead generation, and maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate will travel for 1–2 weeks as needed and collaborate with Sales Manager and internal teams to align customer requirements with company capabilities. Fresh graduates are welcome, with 2–3 years in related roles advantageous.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are welcome; 2–3 years of experience in Sales/Business Development is advantageous.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Business development and sales orientation for new opportunities.
• Business English for communications.
• Proficient in Excel for day-to-day reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
• Conduct prospecting, visits, negotiations, and closing activities.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers.
• Map markets, monitor developments, pricing, and opportunities.
• Develop sales territories especially in Greater Jakarta and Surabaya.
• Prepare and monitor sales pipelines and forecasts.
• Coordinate with Sales Manager and internal teams on customer requirements.
• Attend meetings, dinners, exhibitions, and networking events as needed.
• Willing to travel within Indonesia for 1–2 week trips.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
