Job summary

The ideal candidate has bar operations experience, strong beverage knowledge, leadership, and English communication skills, with flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays in Bali.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily bar operations and ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Lead, coordinate, and support bartenders, baristas and bar staff during shifts.
• Ensure consistent beverage preparation, quality, presentation and portion control.
• Monitor bar stock levels, inventory, requisitions and storage of beverages.
• Assist with stocktaking and monitor beverage usage to minimize wastage.
• Ensure hygiene, sanitation, food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline and performance.
• Assist with staff scheduling, shift allocation and on-the-job training.
• Ensure bar area, equipment and service stations are clean, organized and maintained.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests and complaints professionally.

Key responsibilities

Supervise daily bar operations and ensure smooth and efficient service.

Lead, coordinate, and support bartenders, baristas, and bar service staff during shifts.

Ensure consistent beverage preparation, quality, presentation, and portion control.

Monitor bar stock levels, inventory, requisitions, and proper storage of beverages and supplies.

Assist with stocktaking and monitor beverage usage to minimize wastage.

Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety standards.

Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline, and performance.

Assist with staff scheduling, shift allocation, and on-the-job training.

About you

Previous experience in bar operations, preferably as a Bartender or Bar Supervisor.

Good knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and other beverage products.

Understanding of bar inventory management, stock control, and beverage handling.

Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Good English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.

Well-organized, attentive to detail, and able to work under pressure.

Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
