Job summary

PT ECOLIT KONTRAKTOR BALI is seeking a hardworking Bar Back to support bartenders and ensure smooth daily bar operations in a busy hospitality setting.

You will replenish supplies, prepare bar ingredients, maintain cleanliness, and help the team deliver high-quality guest experiences with strong teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders with daily bar operations and service preparation.
• Replenish beverages, ice, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies.
• Prepare basic bar ingredients and restock mise en place.
• Keep the bar counter, storage areas, equipment, and stations clean and organized.
• Wash, polish, and organize glassware and bar utensils.
• Assist with receiving, checking, storing, and organizing beverage deliveries.
• Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors when supplies run low.
• Assist with inventory checks and proper beverage storage.
• Collect and remove empty bottles, used glassware, and waste per hygiene procedures.
• Ensure ice bins and refrigerators are clean and maintained.

Job description

We are looking for a hardworking, organized, and reliable Bar Back to support the bartenders and ensure smooth daily bar operations. The Bar Back will be responsible for replenishing supplies, preparing bar ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that the bar team has everything needed to deliver efficient service and an excellent guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support bartenders with daily bar operations and service preparation.
• Replenish beverages, ice, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies as needed.
• Prepare basic bar ingredients, including cutting fruits, preparing garnishes, and restocking mise en place.
• Ensure the bar counter, storage areas, equipment, and service stations are clean and organized.
• Wash, polish, and organize glassware and bar utensils.
• Assist with receiving, checking, storing, and organizing beverage deliveries.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the Bartender or Bar Supervisor when supplies are running low.
• Assist with inventory checks, stock rotation, and proper beverage storage.
• Collect and remove empty bottles, used glassware, and waste according to hygiene procedures.
• Ensure ice bins, refrigerators, and other bar equipment are clean and properly maintained.

About you

• Previous experience as a Bar Back, Steward, or in a similar hospitality role is an advantage.
• No prior bar experience required for candidates who are willing to learn.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Positive attitude, reliable, proactive, and hardworking.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit to stand for extended periods and handle beverage supplies safely.
• Basic English communication skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
