Job summary

PT. Erajaya Swasembada, Tbk. is seeking an Area Manager to oversee daily operations and performance across multiple stores in Jakarta. You will ensure brand standards, service excellence, and consistent customer experience.

You will lead Store Managers, monitor KPIs, manage manpower, recruitment, training, and audits while collaborating with Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in hospitality or business fields.
• 5+ years of experience in F&B operations with multi-store management.
• Experience leading Store Managers and frontline teams.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and overall performance of multiple stores within the assigned area.
• Ensure consistent implementation of brand standards, operational procedures, and service excellence across all outlets.
• Monitor store performance against sales targets, profitability, operational KPIs, and business objectives.
• Analyze sales performance, labor productivity, cost control, and other operational indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement action plans to improve store sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers to strengthen leadership capabilities, team performance, and operational execution.
• Monitor manpower planning, staffing levels, scheduling, and workforce productivity across all assigned stores.
• Ensure effective recruitment, onboarding, training, succession planning, and talent development for store operations.
• Conduct regular store visits and operational audits to ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
• Ensure consistent customer experience and service quality across all outlets, including effective resolution of customer complaints and operational issues.
• Monitor inventory management, product availability, stock accuracy, waste control, and coordination with supply chain and procurement teams.
• Control operational expenses, including labor costs, food costs, utilities, and other store-related expenses, to achieve targeted profitability.
• Ensure proper cash management, sales reporting, inventory reconciliation, and compliance with financial control procedures.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain, and other relevant departments to support business initiatives and operational requirements.
• Support new store openings, store readiness, operational setup, and the implementation of business expansion plans.
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions and contingency plans to maintain business continuity.
• Prepare and present regular area performance reports, highlighting key achievements, operational challenges, risks, and improvement initiatives to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B operations, with proven experience managing multiple stores or outlets.
• Previous experience as an Area Manager, Multi-Unit Manager, Regional Operations Manager, or a similar leadership position is preferred.
• Strong track record in managing sales performance, profitability, cost control, and operational KPIs across multiple outlets.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and frontline teams.
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to translate performance data into actionable business improvements.
• In-depth knowledge of F&B operations, customer service standards, food safety, hygiene, and operational compliance.
• Experience in manpower planning, labor productivity management, inventory control, and operational budgeting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in POS systems, Microsoft Excel, and operational reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions under pressure, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-centric mindset with a strong commitment to service excellence and brand consistency.
• Willingness to travel regularly between assigned outlets and work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
