Job summary

Hong Kong Chu Hai College is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to lead end-to-end payroll, budget oversight, and HR operations across staff categories in Hong Kong. You will ensure compliance with HK ordinances, manage MPF/IR56F reporting, and drive performance management initiatives.

The role requires strong data analytics, confidentiality, and bilingual communication in English and Cantonese/Putonghua, with hands-on payroll and labor relations expertise in the tertiary sector.

Qualifications

• Recognised bachelor’s degree in HRM, Business Admin, Accounting or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR management experience with payroll exposure in HK.
• Strong knowledge of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, MPF and IR56F filing.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll management for all staff categories (monthly payroll, final payments, e-banking).
• Manage college-level salary budget and MPF/IR56F reporting.
• Lead staff performance management, annual appraisals, and contract renewal planning.
• Oversee group medical scheme vendor management and procurement workflows.
• Handle employee departures, exit interviews and labour-disputes resolution.
• Oversee travel reimbursements and HR-related procurement within HRO budget.
• Provide data analysis for HR planning and talent reviews.
