Job summary
A local support service in Scotland is seeking a part-time Personal Assistant to assist with social outings, community activities, and occasional overnight trips. The role requires membership in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. Flexibility in hours is expected as they may increase over time. - Membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme required.
Responsibilities
- Support social outings and leisure activities.
- Assist with use of public transport.
- Help with cooking/meal preparation.
Post: Personal Assistant
Hours: 4 Hours per week (flexibility required as hours will potentially increase over time)
Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour Gross
- Supporting social outings and leisure activities
- Supporting visiting cafes and restaurants
- Supporting use of public transport
- Supporting occasional overnight trips
- Supporting exercise and gym sessions
- Accessing activities in the community
- Assistance with cooking/meal preparation where required
- Any other duties commensurate with the role of a Personal Assistant
