A regional healthcare provider in the UK is inviting applications for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Rehabilitation Medicine for a fixed term of 12 months. The role involves providing medical leadership in inpatient rehabilitation wards and managing complex discharge planning. Candidates should have experience in a relevant clinical field. Applications are invited for Senior Clinical Fellow in Rehabilitation Medicine (LED ST3 equivalent) for a fixed term period of 12 months, working Thursday and Friday each week. The successful applicant will join an existing team of General Practitioners, Resident Doctors, Advanced Clinical Practitioners and nursing staff on the wards.
The post holder is responsible for the care of patients on the inpatient rehabilitation wards and Discharge Lounge and will be expected to provide medical leadership in the absence of the GP. The post holder is required to work flexibly across the wards and discharge lounge in line with service needs. The post holder would be expected to review patients holistically, facilitate safe and effective complex discharge planning as well as manage and escalate acute illness in line with clinical competence.
