Urgent Cleaners Wanted: Blackpool Academy (FY4)

We're actively seeking a large number of dedicated School Cleaners to support a prominent Blackpool-based Academy (FY4). If you’re looking for flexible work with the potential for extra earnings, we have shifts available:

• Morning Shift: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Mid Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
• Combine Shifts for additional earning potential!

These temporary roles will run from an ASAP start and continue from December 2025, Monday - Friday. Join our team and help us maintain a sparkling, safe, and welcoming environment!

About The Role

We are seeking dedicated School Cleaners for temporary contracts across our primary and secondary schools in Blackpool and the Fylde Coast, ensuring a healthy and positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of classrooms, corridors, communal areas, and offices.
• Cleaning and sanitising washrooms and toilet facilities.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Dusting and polishing surfaces.
• Replenishing supplies (soap, paper towels).
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and KCSIE guidelines.
• Reporting any maintenance issues or damage.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, ideally within a school or similar environment.
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• An understanding of health and safety procedures related to cleaning.
• A commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
