A prominent health organization in North Wales is seeking a practitioner to lead the public health program, focusing on delivering nursing services to school-age children. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, and care evaluation within the community. Candidates must have an SCPHN degree and current NMC registration; Welsh language skills are desirable. The post holder will have professional responsibility for a defined population/caseload and lead the delivery & organisation of the public health programme. Delivering the nursing component of the school health program to a school age population within a defined number of schools. Based within the community setting, the practitioner is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care offered to families and external organisations, with particular attention to safeguarding children. They will be responsible for coordinating and delegating work within a skill mix team.
