A supportive care agency is seeking a full-time or two part-time Care Assistants in Oxford to support a first-year English Literature student with personal care and daily living activities. The role involves assisting with personal care, domestic duties, and accompanying the client to appointments. Passion for helping others and friendly, responsible qualities are essential. AskJules are recruiting on behalf of our client, a university student at the University of Oxford. Our client is looking for one full‑time or two part‑time care assistants to support her with personal care and daily living. Care/Personal Assistant

3 days/3 nights/4 days/4 nights (Term Time only, 8 weeks on 6 weeks off)
£16.00 per hour
Care experience is not essential for this role as full training will be provided.
Our client is a first‑year English Language & Literature university student at Oxford University. She is a full‑time electric wheelchair user and requires support in all aspects of her daily life. She is passionate about reading and finding connections between texts; her favourite authors are J.R.R. Tolkien, Jane Austen and the Brontës. She enjoys cooking, experimenting with new recipes, singing, and hopes to join the college choir. She is adventurous and looking forward to exploring all aspects of university life, including travel opportunities, academic events & debates, and parties.
She is bilingual, speaking English and German, and has lived in Berlin for a year with her family when younger. She is excited by the prospect of moving to a new city, making the most of her experience in Oxford by visiting cinemas, theatres, bars, clubs, university societies and focusing on academic studies while remaining independent.
You will provide our client’s health and social support. This role goes far beyond simply care work and includes all the fun things you'd expect a first‑year university student to be doing, like going out for meals, cinema, and other general activities.
Care experience is NOT required as full training in our client’s particular requirements will be provided.
