Ashberry Recruitment are looking for a Qualified Social Worker for the Children’s Safeguarding Team within Northamptonshire Children’s Services Trust. This is a 6-month initial contract with a potential for ongoing work.
The Children’s Social Worker will be part of a well-structured and stable team, with supportive management.
- Attending LAC Reviews, Case conferences, and Child Protection meetings
- Working with Public Law Outline (PLO)
- Core Assessments
- Court Reports
3 years minimum post-qualifying experience of working within a statutory Children’s Safeguarding Social Work team within the UK.
Enhanced DBS.
- DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced and in-date DBS certificate
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to make good decisions based on available information
- Ability to work alone and contribute to a team/multi-agency setups
- Possess knowledge of service needs
- Competent IT skills and ability to navigate electronic file/recording systems
- Ability to write clear, concise, and robust assessments/reports/files
- Flexible approach to work and working hours when needed
