A health services provider in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Audiology Practitioner to join the Community North East Sector Audiology Team. The successful candidate will provide patient care, answering hearing aid inquiries, and perform routine tasks. This role includes a mixture of technical and administrative duties, with on-the-job training provided. Candidates should be enthusiastic and motivated, with a willingness to learn. No prior experience is essential, but a basic understanding of hearing aids is preferred.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Practitioner in Audiology.
The post holder will form part of the Community North East Sector Audiology Team (Bury Division). They will be expected to travel between sites across the NCA, working as a member of the audiology team under direct and indirect supervision of an audiologist. The post involves direct patient care dealing with basic hearing aid enquiries and performing routine non-complex tasks on a daily basis. There will be a mix of technical and administrative duties with clearly defined protocols and procedures.
The successful candidate will undertake an external hearing aid assistant audiology course and complete an in‑house training programme.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and caring person to complement our existing audiology teams. This is a good opportunity to join an innovative and dynamic service that provides assessment, treatment and advice to adults and children with hearing difficulties. Though no prior experience is essential, we do require an individual who is willing to undertake training and work within a fast paced department that is often challenging and rewarding.
You will have direct contact with patients, undertaking routine hearing aid maintenance and offering audiological advice of a routine nature. You will be involved with basic checks and set up of rooms and equipment, and may perform routine telephone follow‑up appointments. This post also involves administrative duties such as stock control.
