Job description
Restaurant Manager

The closing date is 31 January 2026

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Restaurant Manager to join us and be responsible for the supervision and organisation of all aspects of production, distribution and service of meals to staff, visitors and patients in the restaurant, functions and hospitality through-out the site and any associated duties.

You will need to analyse till data (Epos) to effectively plan and adjust menus in relation to service requirements, customer trends and needs.

Main duties of the job
  • To ensure compliance within Food Safety Regulations, HACCP and Trust Hygiene Policies, keeping records in accordance with and adapting to the any new regulations, ensuring new staff lower bands follow said policies and practices.
  • To be responsible for the production and day to day maintenance of the weekly rota's, allocation of overtime and the correct use of agency/bank staff to ensure adequate staffing levels are always maintained within budgetary limits and respond to rota pressures. Ensure the correct completion, authorisation of time sheets, allocating & recording of annual leave & Bank Holidays.
  • Assist and support in the Recruitment & selection of new staff, ensuring the discipline, training and welfare of staff including staff appraisals and return to work interviews.
