About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated Clinical Support Workers to join our General and Colorectal ward, delivering excellent standards of care to patients. Working alongside nursing staff, you will play a vital part in ensuring a patient, family and carer experience that is as positive as possible.

Responsibilities
  • Assist nurses in the delivery of excellent care to patients with a range of health conditions.
  • Support patients with basic nursing tasks, including obtaining and accurately recording blood pressure.
  • Perform venepuncture and ECGs as part of the care certificate training.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist in team communication.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience in healthcare is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills, confidence and compassion.
  • Commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care.
  • Will take part in a care certificate course, developing basic nursing skills before advancing to extended competencies.

Salary and Immigration

As per Agenda for Change, a new NHS staff member will start at £24,937 (minimum Band 3 salary point from 1st April 2025).
