A prominent NHS Trust in England is seeking a Band 3 Health Care Assistant to work within the Emergency Department. Applicants should possess an NVQ Level 3 in Care and be capable of working in a dynamic environment, assisting clinical and nursing teams to provide high-quality patient care. This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Health Care Assistant with extended skills and who wants to work in an acute and diverse environment within the Emergency Department.
You will be enthusiastic, motivated and reliable and possess good communication skills and be able to work as part of a large team.
You will assist clinical and nursing staff to deliver timely high quality care in line with Trust Values.
You will possess NVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent and ideally have extended skills in cannulation and ECG recording.

Changes to the UK immigration policy introduced on the 9th April 2025, increased the minimum salary threshold for certificates of sponsorship applications for Health and Care Worker Visa from £23,200 (£11.90 per hour) to £25,000 (£12.82 per hour). As per Agenda for Change, if you are new to the NHS your starting salary would be £24,937 (minimum Band 3 salary point from 1st April 2025 in line with National Living Wage requirements).
