A prominent healthcare organization in Salford is looking for a Respiratory Nurse Specialist for a 12-month secondment. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic and innovative individual to join our asthma team as a respiratory nurse specialist for a 12 month secondment.
The successful candidate will be a qualified nurse with a keen interest in the field of respiratory care with post registration experience. You will provide valuable support to patients who have been admitted to hospital with an exacerbation of asthma or who are under the care of the asthma clinic based at Salford Royal; you will also act as a role model to staff working outside of the expert team.
You must be a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills. Having the drive, vision, and initiative to motivate others and meet the demands of the service is essential. You will be experienced at maintaining patient records and databases and have knowledge of the current respiratory pathways.
This post is a 12-month secondment post to cover maternity leave and to ensure that the requirements of the service are met, is full time. There may be a requirement to work within the community clinic setting. Whilst experience working within the respiratory specialty is desirable, this is not an essential requirement as full training will be given.
