A leading technology firm in Aston Clinton is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager. You will oversee daily health and safety operations, ensuring compliance with critical regulations, and improving health and safety management systems. The ideal candidate comes from a manufacturing/engineering background and has strong auditing experience. This role offers a competitive salary and flexible working options.

- Oversee day-to-day health and safety operations.
- Maintain and improve health and safety management systems.
- Ensure compliance with key regulations.
- Conduct gap analyses and implement improvements.
- Support ISO standards using QMS effectively.
- Conduct fire and risk assessments.
Skills
Salary: £45-55k
Location: Aston Clinton
Shifts: Monday - Friday core hours

- The Health & Safety Manager will oversee day-to-day H&S operations
- Maintain and improve H&S management systems (CDM background beneficial)
- Ensure compliance with key regulations including COSHH, PUWER, ATEX, LOLER, and DSEAR
- Conduct gap analyses, implement improvements
- Support ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) using QMS effectively
- Fire and risk assessments; building safety
- Engaging stakeholders across logistics, manufacturing, and leadership
- Driving change management
- Training, and mentoring
- Candidates must come from Manufacturing/engineering background
- NEBOSH general with fire
- Strong auditing experience to ISO standards
- Auditing (ISO), H&S as primary focus, change management, and training delivery
- Ideally have experience in pharmaceutical
- Must have strong experience with COSHH, PUWER, ATEX, LOLER, DSEAR etc.
