About The Role

Lead the way in digital innovation.

Champion digital practice and help colleagues unlock the power of technology.

With a background of excellence in teaching, innovation and digital technologies, you will work across the East Kent Colleges Group to drive continuous improvement in digital Teaching, Learning and Assessment (TLA).

In this exciting role, you will:
  • Lead the development and use of Immersive Classrooms and Virtual Reality (VR) to transform the learning experience.

  • Champion the use of cutting-edge educational technologies to inspire both staff and students.

  • Design and deliver staff CPD programmes focused on excellence in digital teaching and learning.

  • Collaborate with Teaching and Learning Innovators and the wider Education Improvement Team to share best practice and innovative approaches.

  • Support curriculum teams to embed digital innovation that enhances engagement, accessibility and outcomes for all learners.

  • Play a key role in delivering an outstanding student experience through creative and impactful digital learning strategies.

About You

We’re seeking a passionate and forward-thinking educator with a deep commitment to achieving excellence in digital teaching, learning and assessment. You’ll bring exceptional coaching and mentoring skills, inspiring colleagues to embrace innovation and deliver an outstanding student experience.

You’ll be a qualified teacher with a proven record of successful teaching and positive learner outcomes, and confident in delivering engaging training to staff across the Group.

You’ll bring:

  • A strong understanding of digital technologies, including Microsoft Tools, Artificial Intelligence and Immersive/VR environments.

  • A proven track record of excellence in online and blended learning.

  • Experience in developing and supporting colleagues to improve the quality of digital teaching, learning and assessment.

  • A clear understanding of inclusive teaching and learning strategies that meet the needs of all learners.

  • Awareness of the broad curriculum and provision across East Kent Colleges Group.
