Infrastructure Project Officer needed in Barnsley, £15.84ph PAYE – Reference: 0009 F7FB / 1

• Assist in managing projects related to infrastructure, materials, and resources, ensuring all requirements are gathered and delivered successfully.
• Support project management by coordinating resources to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
• Plan and manage projects within a formal programme and project management framework.
• Provide advice and guidance on projects, communicating key milestones and information to stakeholders.
• Maintain project risk registers and help resolve issues to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support performance management and data analysis to promote quality and continuous improvement.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement processes, technology, and systems to enhance project and service delivery.
• Establish and maintain a document library for effective project and programme management.
• Prepare reports and presentations as needed.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including managers, employees, councillors, and partners, to ensure project success.
• Stay informed of local and national developments to improve projects and meet demands.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, legal, statutory, standing orders, and financial regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
