Job Description: Station Systems Technician - Early & Late Shifts (Level 4)

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Station Systems Technician will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities:

1. Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, Public Address / Voice Activation systems (PAVA), Public Help Points (PHP), and CIS screens.
2. Attend planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks.
3. Maintain SISS assets and report and resolve station communication faults.
4. Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
5. Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates, and completion.

Candidate Profile:

This is a great entry-level role for hands-on individuals who can multi-task and enjoy learning. The ideal candidate will join a team of experienced technicians and should have experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• Background in CCTV, IP networking, or electrical systems.
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies and Lates.
