Job Opportunity: PHP Back End Developer

A great opportunity awaits as a PHP Back End Developer, where you will take a proactive role within our talented Digital Team, helping to build great websites and apps for a diverse range of well-known brands.

You will be responsible for projects and will work closely with the digital team, sharing your IT/digital skills.

About You

You’re looking to join an ambitious, busy agency and share experience on various projects. You will be enthusiastic, focused, passionate about your craft, and willing to embrace new emerging technologies. Essentially, you love writing great code!

You should have solid and successful technical knowledge, including modern programming skills, and possess at least 2+ years of experience as a back-end developer.

High-level communication skills and keen attention to detail are essential.

Requirements and Desirable Skills

1. Proven experience in all technical aspects of back-end web development
2. Highly proficient in PHP and MySQL
3. Experience building responsive, mobile-first websites
4. Experience collaborating with front-end developers
5. Knowledge of current coding techniques and best practices
6. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
7. Comfortable and confident in client meetings
8. Flexible attitude and team experience
9. Proactive problem-solving approach
10. Ability to work under tight deadlines
11. Computer science qualification (degree or equivalent)
12. Good working knowledge of .NET (Visual Studio, C#) and Umbraco
13. Understanding of UX/UI design principles

Additional Details

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (1-hour lunch)
