Job Opportunity: PHP Back End Developer

We have a great opportunity for a PHP Back End Developer to join our talented Digital Team. You will be responsible for building websites and apps for a diverse range of well-known brands, working closely with the team and sharing your IT/digital skills.

About You

You are enthusiastic, focused, and passionate about coding. You possess solid technical knowledge, including modern programming skills, with 2+ years of experience as a back-end developer. Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail are essential.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience in back-end web development
• Proficiency in PHP and MySQL
• Experience building responsive, mobile-first websites
• Knowledge of current coding techniques and best practices
• Degree or equivalent in computer science
• Experience with .NET (Visual Studio, C#) and Umbraco is desirable

Additional Skills (Desirable)

• Understanding of UX/UI design
• App development for iOS and Android
• Knowledge of SEO, form tracking, and split testing
• Experience with SVN and version control

What We Offer

• Salary: £30-35k gross per annum

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a one-hour lunch break. Applicants should live within an easily commutable distance to the office.
