Job Opportunity: PHP Back End Developer

A great opportunity awaits as a PHP Back End Developer, where you will play a proactive role within our talented Digital Team, helping to build excellent websites and apps for a diverse range of well-known brands.

You will be responsible for projects and will work closely with the digital team, sharing your IT/digital skills.

About You

You’re eager to join an ambitious, busy agency and share your experience on various projects. You should be enthusiastic, focused, passionate about your craft, and open to adopting new emerging technologies. Essentially, you love writing great code!

You should have solid and successful technical knowledge, including modern programming skills, and possess at least 2+ years of experience as a back-end developer.

You need excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail.

Essential and Desirable Qualifications

• Proven experience in all technical aspects of back-end web development
• Highly proficient in PHP and MySQL
• Experience building responsive websites with a mobile-first approach
• Experience collaborating with front-end developers
• Deep knowledge of current coding techniques and best practices
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable and confident in client meetings
• Flexible attitude with proven team experience
• Proactive problem-solving approach
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Computer science qualification (degree or equivalent)
• Good knowledge of .NET (Visual Studio, C#) and Umbraco
