Are you a caring and compassionate Registered Nurse looking to work in an outstanding rated Trust? Colmers ward, based at Bridport Hospital, looking for either an experienced or newly qualified Staff Nurse to join our supportive team.

The Staff Nurse post is a full-time role and we offer flexible shifts. Nights – 20:00 to 08:00 and weekend/public holidays at enhanced pay.

You will need enthusiasm and a commitment to provide the highest standards of care to patients, relatives and carers, and the ability to provide professional clinical leadership. You will need to have an interest in working with older people and have good communication and organisational skills.

• NMC Registration
• Teaching Qualification or willingness to undertake
• Demonstrable knowledge of current developments in nursing
• Understanding of the principles of rehabilitation
• Good working knowledge of Clinical Governance and the National Service Frameworks
• Experience of research or audit
• Participation in staff development activities
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and information retrieval
• Successful DBS check
