Paralegal

At Zenith, our Legal & Compliance Team plays a critical role in enabling the business to operate confidently, ethically and at pace. As a Paralegal, you’ll become an essential part of this team—acting as a first line of support, helping manage legal queries, preparing documents, and contributing to a wide variety of legal, compliance and company secretarial work.

This role is ideal for graduates who are proactive, curious, and ready to develop a real breadth of commercial legal skills.

• Act as the first point of contact for routine legal queries and serve as the “legal front door” for the business.
• Manage core administrative processes including new matter tracking and organised document filing.
• Draft and review standard contracts, NDAs and other documents under supervision.
• Support virtual contract signing and ensure all signed agreements and approvals are accurately recorded.
• Provide clear guidance and signposting to internal stakeholders and ensure correct documentation is used.
• Assist with legal research, horizon scanning, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
• Support the Company Secretary with KYC, Companies House filings, board minutes and wider governance work.
• Provide pragmatic, commercially minded assistance and contribute to problem‑solving across the business.

This is a genuinely varied role that offers broad exposure across commercial, corporate, employment and compliance matters.

• A law graduate (LLB or equivalent legal qualification).
• Experienced in a paralegal or legal support role (placement or post‑graduate experience welcomed).
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident drafting and reviewing basic documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using document management systems.
• A strong communicator who can work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Genuinely interested in commercial, corporate and / or employment law.

• Experience in an in‑house legal team or law firm.
• Familiarity with commercial contracts and corporate governance.

• Proactive, curious and enthusiastic about learning.
• Comfortable taking ownership and managing multiple tasks.
• Able to work well under pressure in a fast‑moving environment.
• A positive team player who builds strong working relationships.

• Exposure to a broad range of commercial legal work.
• Significant exposure to experienced Legal Counsel, providing hands‑on guidance, coaching and real‑time learning to support your development.
• Supportive mentoring from legal, compliance and company secretarial professionals.

Please note : Previous Paralegal positions within the team have successfully transitioned into training contracts. Whilst this can never be guaranteed, there is certainly potential for the role to develop in that direction depending on performance, business need and individual development.
