Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Funds Lawyer to work with leading financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the fund structuring, fund formation and fund distribution of various types of investment funds.
• Provide strategic legal guidance on fund-related matters to optimize compliance and operational efficiency.
• Draft and negotiate various legal documents related to the fund including those related to investment terms, investor agreements, management agreements and other contractual arrangements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative legal solutions and support business objectives.
• Knowledge of international fund structures (such as US and Luxembourg) is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years experience working as a Funds Lawyer
• UK qualified (or equivalent) working with US / international law firms ranked by The Legal 500.
• Proven experience in fund formation and distribution with a strong legal background.
• Expertise or familiarity with UCITS (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide clear, concise legal advice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
