DBA Specialist — Remote. £700 inside IR35 - Umbrella only. Active SC cleared; eligible candidates will be considered.
- Provide database administration support and ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of DB environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database incidents and outages; perform root cause analysis and implement durable fixes.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize SQL queries, indexing, and schema design.
- Automate repetitive tasks and deployments using automation tools (e.g., Ansible).
- Work independently and as part of a team; manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong understanding of SQL.
