A reputable manufacturer in timber products is looking for an Account Manager who will drive sales growth and manage client accounts across the UK. The ideal candidate will have a proven sales background in the construction or bespoke joinery sector, strong commercial acumen, and a full UK driving licence. This role offers a competitive salary, car allowance, and opportunities for professional development with remote working arrangements.
Field based Account Manager / Client Account Executive who is commercially driven with the ability to meet new prospects to present and negotiate commercial terms and close deals whilst account managing a portfolio of clients is required for a leading manufacturer of high quality, bespoke timber doorsets for commercial, residential and heritage sectors.
Location: Remote working from home with client visits nationally. Ideally based in the Midlands or Yorkshire regions, but other areas of the North of England and Southern Scotland will also be considered. Travel nationally with a full UK driving licence is required.
If you have experience as a client account manager / executive or have experience working with architects, builders / construction firms / property developers or have worked within the commercial side of a manufacturing business that produces high end doors / wood framed windows / fire doors or similar wood-based products, then this job could be ideal for you.
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum + Benefits

Key requirement: You will need a full driver’s licence as this job will involve visiting your client base and new prospects

You will drive sales growth by developing relationships with architects, contractors, and end users, securing specifications, and managing projects from initial enquiry through to order conversion. You will promote the company brand and product portfolio, identify new business opportunities, and support clients with technical advice and tailored solutions.
