Job summary

A leading employment agency is seeking an experienced Civil litigation and judicial Senior Lawyer to manage a caseload and supervise junior members in a flexible, remote role. Qualifications

• Experienced local government lawyer with recent experience in civil litigation and judicial review.
• Ability to supervise junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a caseload in an area of law allocated.
• Respond to requests for advice and representation.
• Manage all aspects of court representation as required.
• Advise/present to courts and meetings as needed.
• Lead in advising clients on specialist aspects of law.
• Determine appeals under the Internal Dispute Resolution Procedure.
• Participate in Legal Services’ Out of Hours service.
• Other duties as assigned by Legal Service managers.
