This is a remote working role, with trips to client sites in Cheshire 1-2 times per month.
You'll step into a senior technical role with genuine influence, working on a proven AI platform with real users and clear product-market fit. The work is challenging, meaningful, and focused on outcomes — with the freedom to stay hands‑on without being pulled into people management. Remote‑first working is balanced with regular client engagement, giving you variety without constant travel.
- Designing and delivering scalable, AI‑first solutions that map directly to real public‑sector workflows
- Acting as the technical anchor between clients, product teams, and delivery functions
- Leading solution design, backlog refinement, and technical prioritisation across multiple workstreams
- Building and shipping production features using .NET, Azure, React, and modern AI frameworks
- Implementing Generative AI capabilities using LLMs, RAG, and agentic approaches
- Upholding engineering quality through code reviews, testing practices, and technical standards
- Strong commercial experience delivering production systems with C# and .NET Core
- Previous experience designing and deploying Azure-based cloud solutions
- Hands‑on exposure to Generative AI implementations, whether in live environments or advanced POCs
- A track record of translating business requirements into robust technical designs
- Experience guiding and mentoring engineers without formal line management
